IEEE-P2020 measurements
Using the VLS for IEEE-P2020 KPI measurements
The VLS (Versatile Light System) is our new illumination solution that efficiently measures the crucial KPIs outlined in the IEEE-P2020 standard, such as contrast transfer accuracy (CTA). Six Vega light sources power this light setup. Each Vega is attached to an arm that can be manually positioned at various angles. Vega is a DC-driven high-precision light source for testing cameras with very short exposure times, such as automotive-grade systems.

Camera Calibration Solutions

Our geometric camera calibration solution – GEOCAL – uses a beam-expanded laser in combination with a diffractive optical element (DOE) to generate a regular grid of light sports originating from infinity. Use the GEOCAL to measure (and remove) geometric distortion, focal length, and principal point.
Other camera calibration solutions include our CAL device series. These devices are powered by iQ-LED technology, which allows you to generate custom spectra for your camera calibration and characterization. Furthermore, our CAL2 device is optimized for production lines to improve calibration efficiency.

We look forward to participating in the upcoming Color and Imaging Conference, one of our favorite events of the year! At this year's conference, our CEO, Dietmar Wueller, will teach a short course with Eric Walowit. They will focus on "Camera Color Characterization: Theory and Practice."
This course will cover everything from the impact of color on image quality to the methodology for building camera colorimetric transforms and profiles. They will also present the latest characterization solutions, including monochromators and multispectral LED light sources. Finally, there will be a live demonstration of the end-to-end process of spectral camera characterization, camera transform generation, and matching from capture to display.

Test chart spotlight – Slanted edges
TE296 is our latest test chart based on ISO 12233 (2023)
TE296 is our latest chart for evaluating the resolution of digital cameras based on SFR edge measurements. This chart uses gray patches for linearization and is designed per the latest update of ISO 12233 (2023). It also has straight diagonal edges and is available with a 4:1 (standard version) or 6:1 contrast ratio.
iQ-Analyzer-X update
Version 1.10.1 is now available for download
Version 1.10.1 of the iQ-Analyzer-X analysis software is now available for download from our website. This is a bug-fix version that solves a few critical bugs. The main improvement is the plug-and-play mode when using the cultural heritage dongle. Please review the changelog for all of the bug fixes and improvements.
