Introducing the VLS
A new versatile light system (VLS)
We are excited to announce the release of the VLS, our new illumination solution that efficiently measures the crucial KPIs outlined in the IEEE-P2020 standard, such as contrast transfer accuracy (CTA). Six Vega light sources power this light setup. Each Vega is attached to an arm that can be manually positioned at various angles. Vega is a DC-driven high-precision light source for testing cameras with very short exposure times, such as automotive-grade systems.
The VLS software includes VLS-Control for easy test sequence generation and VLS-Evaluation for straightforward test results analysis. The software's first version (1.0.0) will feature CTA measurements and results analysis.
The VLS creates a dynamic scene that can be quickly randomized to generate typical illumination challenges that automotive cameras and sensor systems face. Order by June 30, 2024, and receive a 10% discount on the purchase price. Contact our sales team for more information.
iQ-Analyzer-X V1.9.0
The latest version of the iQ-Analyzer-X is available for download
We are excited to announce the release of the latest version—V1.9.0—of the iQ-Analyzer-X evaluation software. This version brings many new updates, improvements, and bug fixes.
We have added a new external database migration tool to allow you to transfer data between different databases. We have also implemented a backup system for local database storage, including automated backup during a software update and the possibility of creating manual backups or returning to older versions.
Chart support for the TE42-LL 2AR and the TE253 16:9 is available with this version. We have also improved the analysis of Siemens stars and slanted edges while improving many UTT and OECF target measurements.
Check out the latest changelog for all of the updates and improvements.
iQ-Analyzer-X PROMOTION
Limited time offer for a free TE42-LL test chart
For those who have yet to purchase the pro version of iQ-Analyzer-X, we are offering a limited-time opportunity to order the pro version and receive a one-time free TE42-LL test chart. Qualifying charts include the TE42, TE42-LL, TE42-LL 2AR, and TE42-LL UW. Take advantage of this offer, and improve your image quality testing today! Contact our sales team for more information. This offer is valid until June 30, 2024.
Contrast Transfer Accuracy (CTA)
An automotive image quality KPI
Contrast Transfer Accuracy (CTA) is one of the key performance indicators (KPIs) identified as crucial for evaluating the performance and safety of automotive camera systems. The IEEE-P2020 standard defines CTA (formerly known as contrast detection probability) as the accuracy of reproducing the scene contrast within a specified area and under various imaging conditions.

Geometric Camera Calibration
Utilizing GEOCAL for geometric camera calibrations
GEOCAL is a geometric camera calibration device that uses a beam-expanded laser in combination with a diffractive optical element (DOE). We also offer an XL and an IR version.
GEOCAL benefits:
- Ability to generate a regular grid of light spots originating from infinity
- Measure geometric distortion, focal length, and principal point
- The camera position is translation invariant (to a certain extent)
- Easily manage the angle of camera rotation
- A compact design and no relay lens required
- Calibrate large field-of-view cameras
- Stereo camera alignments and adjustments
- Remove lens distortion using GEOCAL and OpenCV
AutoSens - Detroit
May 21-23, 2024 - Detroit, USA
Will you be joining us in Detroit this May? We will again participate in one of our favorite events of the year. AutoSens will occur from the 21st – 23rd of May at Huntington Place in Detroit. We will showcase some of our latest advancements in automotive image quality testing.
We look forward to seeing you there!
