GEOCAL - Geometric Calibration

‍IR version available to calibrate your IR sensitive camera

GEOCAL

GEOCAL is a geometric camera calibration device that uses a beam-expanded laser in combination with a diffractive optical element (DOE). We also offer an XL and an IR version.

GEOCAL benefits:

  • Ability to generate a regular grid of light spots originating from infinity
  • Measure geometric distortion, focal length, and principal point
  • The camera position is translation invariant (to a certain extent)
  • Easily manage the angle of camera rotation
  • A compact design and no relay lens required
  • Calibrate large field-of-view cameras
  • Stereo camera alignments and adjustments
  • Remove lens distortion using GEOCAL and OpenCV

TE42-LL - New chart variations

‍TE42-LL 2AR and TE42-LL UW

TE42-LL UW/2AR

We have expanded the TE42-LL multipurpose chart series with two new variations. TE42-LL UW (ultra-wide) uses tartan targets to ensure that the frequency patterns don’t change when measuring the resolution of ultra-wide camera systems.

The TE42-LL 2AR (2 aspect ratios) version combines 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios on one chart plane. The center of the chart will stay exactly the same as the original TE42-LL test chart, but now, extra Siemens stars are added on the outside to account for the different aspect ratios.

TE296 - A new slanted edge chart

‍A slanted edge chart based on ISO 12233 (2023)

TE296

TE296 is our latest chart for evaluating the resolution of digital cameras based on SFR edge measurements. This chart uses gray patches for linearization and is designed per the latest update of ISO 12233 (2023). It also has straight diagonal edges and is available with a 4:1 (standard version) or 6:1 contrast ratio.
