Abstract
Image quality has always been one of the most important aspects in video engineering. With regard to quality assessment, the advent of digital technologies entails a great potential on the one hand, on the other hand it reveals previously unknown issues.
The major challenge of this master thesis was the development and implementation of a software interface for the objective analysis of the video image quality. This manuscript gives an overview of selected topics of the measurement technology in matters of colorimetry. Furthermore, the development and the implementation of the software is discussed and documented.
