Abstract

Image stabilization in digital imaging gets more and more popular. This fact is responsible for the increasing interest in the benefits of the stabilizing systems. The common standards provide neither binding norms nor recommendations for the evaluation.

This thesis' objective is the development and implementation of a test device and a test procedure for qualitative analysis of image stabilizing systems under reproducible and realistic conditions. The basis for these conditions is provided by the studies of physiological properties of human tremor and the functionality of modern stabilizing systems.
